COMPLEXITY- low end of moderate. 4-5 different distinct aromas present AGE/STORAGE- clear glass container with humidity control pack, has some dried grass/hay smell possibly due to phytochemical off gassing during harvest/drying/curing/storage process. UNIQUENESS- uncommon Appearance- CONTAMINANTS? None TRICHOME DENSITY- 85% INTACT TRICHOMES- 90%, milky golden, clear white and amber color of trichome heads STRUCTURE- typical TRIM- Outstanding-Supreme trim. Small sugar leaves present with moderate trichome coverage, no bud damage. Integrity of bud shape is preserved. Pristine looking bud. FLOWER MATURITY- high end moderate swollen/full bracts, strong stigma posture bursting out of the bracts with dark brown/orange with some vibrant pink/violet sprinkled in. Bud color is lime and dark green. TACTILE- Excellent moisture content, nice snap off stem, mild spongy, good bounce back, moderate density, mild greasy, moderate velvety, moderate gritty/sand UNIQUENESS- uncommon Flavor- DRY HIT- low end moderate intensity of Earth-soil, mild Sweet Floral and Fruit combo RELATABLE FLAVORS- Sweet floral, earthy and herbal spice- cayenne, black pepper, toasted/roasted grains, citrus zest-grapefruit rind and pine floral fuel/cleaner, sweet and earth graham cracker BODY/MOUTHFEEL- low end moderate SMOOTHNESS- very silky and soft, little to no resistance of smoke in airway, minimal inhalation effort, mild pepper and cayenne spice heat on the palate. BURN- acceptable. Joint stays lit. 70% of light fluffy ash 30% dark fluffy ash INTENSITY- high end moderate strength of flavor. Clear, distinct and bold notes present LONGEVITY- Very nice bold and pronounced notes that linger on the palate, 10 + minutes. cayenne pepper notes hit the tip of the tongue COMPLEXITY- moderate. amount of layers, nice complementary blend of toasted Earth, Fruit zest, Spice and Floral UNIQUENESS- uncommon Primary MENTAL/HEAD/BRAIN EFFECT- stimulating. Uplifting and mildly euphoric mood. Improved Focus and Clarity. Frontal lobe/forehead energizing. Primary PHYSICAL/BODY EFFECT- stimulating. Energizing in the chest/lungs and abdomen/solar plexus. Warming in the digestion. Improved breath/airway opening. Improved coordination of movement in the body, Nice to dance to- Dance around a bonfire! ONSET- how quickly primary/initial experienced was realized. 8 minutes. moderate (5-15 mins) INTENSITY- high end of moderate - pendulum swing off of baseline (8.5/10) DURATION- length of primary experience was 40 minutes. moderate (30-1 hour) AFTER EFFECT- overall residual experience in mental and physical was stimulating. The uplifting and creative mental space was sustained. They eyes feel relaxed. Mild focus. Thy physical body feels balanced into mild relaxation. Can go into a nice deep meditative space. DURATION OF AFTER EFFECT- sustained (+1 hour) UNIQUENESS OF THE EXPERIENCE- uncommon ENJOYMENT OF THE EXPERIENCE- 9.3/10. Positive attributes were the amazing experience the body and mind with the herb. It gives a boost of energy with clarity in the mind and body= “Clear Boost”. The individual flavors and profile blends were bold and complementary. Felt enjoyable and helpful to my entire nervous system. Lovely aroma to the smoke of earthy toasted grains and graham cracker aroma. How it could be improved would be more intensity and complexity to the aroma. What a gem! This stuff really does look like the picture. A really interesting smell on this one, many layers to it. Berry is dominant at the first whiff but then it gets a lot more tangy. I tried this in a joint and it was great, with the flavor mirroring the smell but getting more of a herbal tang as the resin built up, almost a hint of eucalyptus in there. What really hit me was the effect though. This stuff strongly lives up to it's name- it elevates you but doesn't really seem to inhibit your thinking as much as some other strains, it doesn't make me all stony and distractable. Definitely a more rare experience for me, and a testament to the genetics wizardry of Elk Creek. A clear boost indeed! If you're like me, I'd recommend this for doing stuff, not laying around.
