Fresno County

Unfortunately, the government of Fresno County has prohibited all forms of commercial cannabis within their jurisdiction.

Despite the county's refusal to legalize, the City of Fresno has allowed commercial cannabis within city limits, resulting in a small legal industry within the county. With an urban area population of just over a million people, Fresno is the fifth-largest city in California and the largest inland city in the state. It is located in the San Joaquin Valley, about 200 miles southeast of San Francisco and about 110 miles northwest of Los Angeles. Fresno is known for its diverse culture and strong agricultural industry, and is home to a number of universities and colleges. The city is also home to a number of museums and cultural attractions, including the Fresno Art Museum, the Forestiere Underground Gardens, and the Meux Home Museum. Additionally, Fresno is located in close proximity to a number of outdoor recreational areas, including the Sierra Nevada mountain range, Yosemite National Park, and Kings Canyon National Park.
